Care Guide

How to Take Care of Your Newly Purchased Furniture

A little regular attention keeps solid wood looking and lasting its best.

A.Basic Care

  1. Avoid placing your furniture near damp areas. Make sure it is properly ventilated (air-conditioned rooms are ideal).
  2. Clean regularly using a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
  3. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading, drying, or cracking.

B.Protection

  1. Apply a protective finish (wood polish, varnish, or furniture wax) every 1–3 years, depending on usage.

C.Pest Control

  1. To prevent termites, avoid placing cardboard, paper, or other wood materials near the furniture, especially in moist areas.
  2. Inspect every 3–6 months for signs of termites such as powdery dust, small holes in the wood, or a hollow sound when tapped. Early detection is easier to treat.
